 Informed by nature, travel, and relationship, my art is by turn whimsical, thought provoking, and serene.  It captures for my collectors a certain mood or quality they seek in their lives, and, often, the spirit of a special place.

In addition to original pieces and prints, it is my pleasure to collaborate on one-of-a-kind commissions giving your personal treasure and passions new life

Something about working with fire and metal grounds me.  Metalwork is the first 3D medium that feels completely natural to me.  My sculptures and found object stabiles tell stories with humor and grace.  

Garden art, vases, house number signs, and stabiles are easily personalized and shipped.

I work in acrylics, watercolors and collage to express the joys and challenges of being human:  isolation, creativity, connection, attachment, joy, despair.  

Multimedia commissions can turn those items stuffed into a box into living treasures:  maps or metro tickets, fabric or photographs, coins, pet tags, dried flowers...  Let's take them out to play!

My sister, brother, and I all share an interest in color, line, and design.  I began my visual art work in quilting and fiber arts, making bed and art quilts before branching out to other forms:  felting, pinweaving, and sashiko.
